Asylum seekers generally are entitled to free legal assistance. Your lawyer will help you secure your rights and assist you throughout the application process, including being present at the interview with the Migration officer. Your lawyer will also prepare briefs that are submitted in support of your application as well as assist you with any appeals, should your application be denied.
